Description

This One-Pot Cheeseburger Macaroni is a creamy, cheesy, beef-packed pasta dish that delivers all the flavor of a classic cheeseburger in just one pan. Ready in 30 minutes, it’s perfect for busy nights and loved by kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Ground Beef: Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add Aromatics: Stir in diced onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened.
  3. Combine the Pasta and Broth: Add elbow macaroni, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  4. Simmer: Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to low. Cover and simmer for 8–10 minutes, until pasta is al dente and liquid is mostly absorbed.
  5. Add the Cheese: Turn off heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Top with chopped parsley or green onions if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheese for best meltability. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of milk or broth. Add jalapeños or hot sauce for a spicier kick.
